An Unforgettable Baptism on Symi Island - Naya
In the heart of the Dodecanese archipelago there is the enchanting island of Symi, a magical canvas for the baptism in Greece of a beautiful little girl named Najia. This two-day celebration unfolded like a fairy tale, bringing together Greek American parents whose wedding we had the honor to work together for their wedding in Santorini four years ago.
The focal point of this joyous event was the unique Holy Monastery of Archangel Michael Panormitis in Symi, where the baptism ceremony was to take place. Nestled on this idyllic island, this monastery offered a serene and spiritual backdrop for Najia's special day. The air was filled with a sense of anticipation as family and friends gathered in this sacred space.
