Dana and Dimosthenis’ destination wedding in Mykonos was a truly international celebration that unfolded over three unforgettable days on the cosmopolitan island of the Aegean. As their wedding planners in Greece, we had the privilege of designing and orchestrating a multi-day experience that combined authentic Greek hospitality, refined aesthetics, and the couple’s bold, vibrant vision for their wedding in Mykonos.
From the very beginning, the concept was clear: this was not only a wedding day, but a full immersive journey for their guests, who traveled from across the world to celebrate love in one of Greece’s most iconic destinations. Mykonos, with its striking light, whitewashed architecture, and endless sea views, provided the perfect canvas for a celebration that was both luxurious and deeply personal.
The festivities began with a traditional Greek welcome dinner by the sea, where guests gathered just steps from the water’s edge. The sound of the waves, the warm summer breeze, and long tables filled with shared plates created an atmosphere of relaxed elegance and connection. Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed to a spectacular reception venue with panoramic views of the Aegean. The design concept was bold yet harmonious, combining fuchsia, yellow, aqua, gold, white, wood, and glass elements to reflect both the vibrancy of the couple and the natural beauty of Mykonos. Lush floral arrangements featured freesias and a rich variety of orchids—phalaenopsis, cymbidium, and dendrobium—creating an immersive floral experience that elevated both the ceremony and reception spaces.
Candlelight played a central role in the design, adding warmth, depth, and romance as the sun set and the celebration transitioned into night. The dinner experience was refined and atmospheric, with long tables set beneath elegant lighting, encouraging conversation, connection, and shared joy among guests.
