Mykonos Island, located in the Aegean Sea, is one of the most famous Greek islands known for its stunning beaches, picturesque villages, and vibrant nightlife.
It is a true gem with its white-washed cubic houses, blue domed churches, and narrow alleys with colorful bougainvillea flowers. The architecture on the island is unique and traditional with a mix of modern luxury villas that blend in perfectly with the landscape.
Kara and Anthony our lovely couple from the UK chose Mykonos as their wedding destination, and it was the perfect choice. The wedding planning started early, almost two years before but it was such a beautiful experience.
The celebration lasted three days starting with a cruise around the island, taking in the beautiful beaches and stunning views. The guests enjoyed food and drinks on board, while a DJ provided the perfect soundtrack for the day. There were stops for swimming and to take in the beautiful sunset.
The wedding was a beautiful and elegant affair, set against the stunning backdrop of the Aegean Sea. The Jewish ceremony was a highlight of the event, with the bride and groom standing under a Chuppa adorned with flowers and surrounded by their loved ones. The ceremony itself was conducted by a rabbi, who spoke about the sanctity of marriage and the importance of love and commitment.
After the ceremony, guests were treated to a cocktail hour as the sun began to set over the horizon. Delicious finger foods and cocktails were served, and guests mingled and chatted as they took in the breathtaking views. The atmosphere was one of joy and celebration, with guests enjoying the relaxed and fun atmosphere.
The reception dinner was a truly unforgettable experience. The venue was decorated in a modern and elegant style, with beautiful floral arrangements and stunning centerpieces that featured white, blush pink, and light green flowers and greenery. The table settings were exquisite, with every detail carefully planned and executed to perfection. Each guest had a personalized gift waiting for them at their seat, a lovely touch that added to the overall feeling of warmth and generosity.
The dinner itself was a la carte, with five courses of exquisite cuisine that delighted the senses. From fresh seafood to succulent meats and decadent desserts, the food was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The highlight of the evening, however, was the entertainment. The singer, a surprise from the parents, was absolutely amazing, and she was joined by a talented saxophone player who added a jazzy touch to the proceedings.
The dancing went on late into the night, with guests kicking up their heels and enjoying the festive atmosphere. The party only paused briefly for a spectacular fireworks display, which lit up the sky in a blaze of color and light. As a nod to the bride and groom's heritage, a late snack of fish and chips was served, a delightful treat that everyone enjoyed.
Overall, the wedding was a wonderful celebration of love and commitment, set against the stunning backdrop of Mykonos Island. From the relaxed and fun boat trip to the stunning ceremony, elegant reception, and unforgettable entertainment, it was an event that will be remembered for years to come. We, as their wedding planners feel so happy that we were a part of their celebration.
