Athanasia & John

"When we were looking for an event planner for our destination wedding weekend, we wanted the total package. Someone who knew the ins and outs of a location that was foreign to us, and a personality that could mesh well with us and our loud families. Katerina and her team at Mood Effects gave us all that and more. Choosing Mood Effects was easily the best decision we made throughout this whole process. We were very unaware of many of the fine details that went into our entire wedding destination event. Katerina allowed us to make informed decisions that ultimately led to our magical wedding. Her research and expertise allowed us to feel as if we had visited the locations with her. Katerina took into account all of our questions, requests. and worries. Communicating with her was incredibly easy, considering a 7 hour difference since we are based in New York. Her promptness and flexibility made what was supposed to be a stressful time, very easy and enjoyable! Our wedding was in Santorini, but Katerina made a point of also showing us around Athens to meet some of the vendors for our wedding. This extra care for us to meet the people involved reassured us that we were in safe hands. She took the time out to arrange our meetings so that our time wasn’t wasted while we were visiting. Even upon arriving in Santorini, she still provided us with the same VIP treatment. At no point did we feel like ‘clients’. The Mood Effects team’s personability really made us feel welcome and comfortable. Most importantly, when nature decided to not cooperate with us on our special day, Katerina and the Mood Effects team was efficiently prepared with solutions on the spot. Katerina and her team made sure our party was a success. Their organization and commitment to us made our families genuinely feel as though our happiness was their priority. This was also the case even after our event had passed. The bond we have developed with the amazing people at Mood Effects is a joyous memory of our wedding! When we do another event in Greece, they will be our first call. "
